Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

I believe therapy is a collaborative journey built on trust, compassion, and respect.

You are the expert on your own life. My role is to bring clinical knowledge, curiosity, compassion, and tools to the room while working alongside you to understand what you're experiencing and where you want to go.

I take a trauma-informed, person-centered approach and recognize that every person's story, strengths, needs, identity, and goals are different.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

A Space to Be Yourself

Therapy should be a place where you feel safe enough to be honest.

That means you don't have to perform, have all the answers, or worry about being judged. We can talk about the difficult things, the confusing things, the things you're still trying to understand, and even the things you aren't quite ready to put into words. I strive to create an affirming space for people of all backgrounds, identities, cultures, and experiences, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

As a social worker, I also recognize that our mental health is influenced by the world around us. Culture, identity, family, relationships, finances, access to resources, and experiences with systems can all shape how we experience ourselves and our lives.

Evidence-Based, Individualized Care

Depending on your needs and goals, I may draw from:

“The goal isn’t to fit you into a particular therapy model. The goal is to find what works for you."

What I Believe

Most importantly, I believe healing happens through authentic connection.

Therapy isn't about judging where you are or telling you who you should be. It's about creating space to better understand yourself, process what has been difficult, recognize your strengths, and discover ways to move forward.

Sometimes healing is a big step. Sometimes it's a very small one. Both count.
